WHO WE ARE
The Jackson County Animal Rescue Center is part of the Environmental Health Section of the Jackson County Department of Public Health. We are grateful for the many hands involved in the caretaking and protection of our pets. The ARC is maintained by:
- A team of Animal Control Officers dedicated to protecting the public health of our community
- Shelter Attendants and Personnel that commit to the welfare of our animals
- Rescue Partners that work to ensure our pets get a forever home
- Volunteers who donate time and special skills (i.e. maintaining our Facebook page: Friends of Animal Rescue Center-Jackson County NC)
